The Bay of Bengal Resort sits on a spacious 14.3 acres of land. The Resort is an artistic contemporary interpretation of the traditional and graceful Myanmar style, and the ultra-modern roof styling is specially designed to flood the resort with calming, filtered natural light. It's unique style, unmistakable originality and its true exclusivity marks the Bay of Bengal Resort as a venue like no other. A walk through the gardens is a stroll through a tropical dream. The sound of the waterfall along the passage through the lush greenery, the pulsating rhythm of the sea in the background, and the gentle breezes that constantly brush the gardens create a soothing atmosphere. The lavishly-stocked Reception Bar is a welcome stop over for a sip of a tangy cocktail before continuing on and entering the luxury zone.
The newly-opened Bay-of-Bengal Resort Hotel snuggles in discrete isolation at the right-hand end of Ngwe Saung Beach, and has own private 1800 feet long beach front. The resort is tucked away and out of sight of other hotels further down the beach, offering the ultimate in private and tranquility that can’t be matched elsewhere. When approaching the shore by boat from the sea, the resort is a distinctive landmark that beckons like a beacon.
The resort has international kitchens catering for global tastes. An experienced Italian chef oversees the gourmet Italian restaurant, where the finest quality food and cooking par-excellence ensures an enchanting dining experience. The resort's Business Centre provides internet and email to allow guests to stay in touch with home or office, and there is also a small library. The centre has Ngwe Saung Beach's only money exchange service. The Bay of Bengal Resort also offers efficient, friendly room service from 7am to 11pm.
Islands Sa Khan Island, or Camping Island, can be reached in about an hour in a fishing boat. It is an interesting camping area, populated mainly by the local fishermen and their handmade cooking stools and small huts can be found here.

island by small boats which ply their way through the remains of
half submerged caves adds more excitement to the experience.
